"Lee's apartment was a lovely base for our Hilo vacation. The building itself is from the 70s, but the entire apartment has been recently renovated. It's a very chill building, and the only noises we heard were the ocean and nature. My kids enjoyed the pool, it was a perfect temperature for us (not too cold and not too hot). Having a private gate to Carlsmith Beach/Lagoon was so nice. We literally just went downstairs, through the gate, and were at the lagoon. I loved having my breakfast on the lanai overlooking the lagoon and the ocean - because it's on the top floor there are trees below blocking the view of the people down at the pool and the beach park, so it was really private. Lee was great with communication as well. Highly recommend!!"
