It's a more secluded part of the island but a 20 min walk down or free hotel drop-off takes you to a wonderful little pocket of restaurants/beach bars/cafes - honestly hidden gems. Really great quality for the food. We spent 8 nights here and have now moved to Lamai Beach (packed with tourist) and we honestly wished we were still in the North. "This is my second time at this resort, they welcomed me with an elephant made from towels in my room "Welcome back" Food was good but the service at restaurant was slow and served untimely. The beach is great but service on the beach was hard to get. Transportation to and from the ferry was provided by the hotel. My only complaint is when they drop you at the ferry it is very confusing where to go. They need to provide foreigners with some instructions where to go at the pier. My GF is Thai and...
