Presently ( June 2024) Grover Beach is undergoing construction very close to the hotel a it is the West Grand Avenue Streetscape Project. So it is more noisy and dirty in the area than normal - working to improve the area.

Great vacation spot. Book 6 months in advance with your camper for a better visit. They have a brewery nearby too that has great food and great service.

"While there isn't much in the way of 'personality' in this hotel, it is very clean, comfortable and offers a super breakfast. The pool is very small but kids will still have fun there. Staff is friendly but you really don't interact much with staff outside the breakfast room. Strange things: our towels were replaced but the coffee and cups were not replenished. Had enough but just a little strange. Beds were made daily. Very comfy quiet place and convenient parking, great location. Dog friendly, if you have dogs."
"The grounds are beautiful. The view and sound of the waves crashing are amazing. The room was quiet. The bed was very comfortable. Upgrade to a beach view room with a balcony. You won’t regret it! Purchase the s’mores kit at the check in desk to enjoy around one of the three fire pits. We met a wonderful family from Switzerland. And get up early to enjoy the beauty of the ocean alone. (But being a blanket or towel because the chairs may be damp from overnight fog.) "
"Great location and friendly staff. We could walk to all the shops, restaurants and bars. Bathrooms need an update, ours had broken and cracked baseboards and a floor tile in front of sink that was loose. Bathtub was old, shower curtain was tattered.
The bed was comfy, we had a great view of the ocean from our room."
