"We were passing through on our way home from Scotland. The pub was great, had a wonderful and spacious outside area with covered and open seating. They were very accommodating of our
dog. Had a great meal in the evening, and an equally good breakfast before getting back on the road. The area was beautiful and wish we had more time to roam."

"Foxglove cottage is ideally situated in the village, very close to the shop/post office and the excellent "Boot and Shoe" pub. The cottage was clean on arrival, maybe a little dated on the interior, but this adds to the charm. Beds were clean and comfy and the free wi- fi was a nice touch along with the freeview tv. Plenty of good walks and a lovely park and outdoor pool nearby."
