The rooms were spacious, beautifully rustic yet well-appointed, and spotlessly clean. We loved waking up to the sounds of the countryside and enjoying our coffee while watching the sunrise over the vineyards. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful, offering wonderful recommendations for local wineries, restaurants, and sights. Their warm hospitality made us feel right at home. Breakfast was a daily highlight—fresh, local products served with care. We also appreciated the lovely pool area, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring Montepulciano and nearby hill towns. If you’re looking for an authentic, peaceful, and truly memorable Tuscan experience, Podere La Rocca is the perfect choice. We can't wait to return! Highly recommended. A special highlight of our evening was the service. Antonio, our waiter, was simply fantastic. He was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, offering excellent recommendations and making sure every detail was just right. Simonetta and her husband were extremely welcoming, we didn’t have a lot of solid plans made during our stay and Simonetta provided the most perfect recommendations for us. "Beautiful property outside and inside,comfortable and well equipped with many thoughtful touches. Located about an hour from Florence and 45 minutes from Siena. Owner lives nearby, is very friendly and goes above and beyond to be helpful. Owner uses Google translate to communicate from Italian to English. Next door neighbor also very kind and speaks perfect English. My husband had back issues and his mobility was compromised. We wanted to see Florence but felt this would be impossible given his inability to walk and the auto restrictions in the city. Owner put us in touch with a guide and car service that had a special permit to drive in city. Both Excellent. When I sprained my ankle night before we left, owner whose husband owns a pharmacy in nearby Lucignano drove to town, got special zinc bandage for my ankle and bandaged it up enabling us to continue on next day "

"We loved our week at Villa Maria. We wanted a place where we could gather together and visit, but still have our own space. This house was perfect for that. Carlo was very helpful, providing a lot of great information and communicating with us regularly before arrival. The villa is bigger and better than the photos show. Our little dog enjoyed the large, fenced yard. The cold a/c was really appreciated. The house is furnished with everything. It is not just a vacation rental. It is a lovely, cozy, lived-in home. The location is perfect for exploring Tuscany and Umbria. We look forward to returning again soon. Perfect!!"
