"The hotel was ideally situated for convenient access to shops and restaurants in Cordona. It was close to parking, both free and paid. The rooms were nice and we loved the breakfast that was included. But the best part was the staff. They were both incredibly kind and very helpful. "
"The breakfast assortment and quality were amazing. The view from the patio was very beautiful during breakfast. The manageress was very warm and welcoming."
"Ottima esperienza, camera grande spaziosa e pulita. Abbiamo cenato e la qualita era eccellente. Un po scarsa la colazione ma nel complesso molto bene! "
"Siamo stati accolti con gentilezza e disponibilità dalla signora Tania che ci ha dato anche graditi consigli su come muoversi in zona. Abbiamo anche ricevuto un upgrade rispetto alla stanza prenotata. Camera ampia (n4) e colazione buona. Anche il sig. Cristian Chef e gestore è stato estremamente gentile"
"The most beautiful place to spend on our honeymoon.
Simonetta and her husband were extremely welcoming, we didn’t have a lot of solid plans made during our stay and Simonetta provided the most perfect recommendations for us.
We even did a cooking class with her which was so much fun!
Thank you so so much! "
"This property is so beautiful and the food at the resturant was fantastic. Our only complaint was the spa, the sauna was great, but the hottub was lukewarm and there was so much chlorine it made our eyes burn and we had to get out almost immediately.
Otherwise a perfect experience!"

Monastero di Cortona Hotel & Spa
10/10 Excellent
"Stayed for 4 nights on part of a long gal pal trip to France & Italy.
This place was simple extraordinary .
Starting each day with a breakfast that had every imaginable food options to suit your style. No lunch needed after feasting in style.
Happy hour could not have been better, the cocktails were a work of art, as were the complimentary appetizers!
Each day we thought we would try some other restaurant in Cortona, but ultimately always chose to eat in the dinning room, and we were never disappointed.
The wine, food, service, ...all outstanding.
Oh my, the rooms, sheer indulgence, the views, the linens, the daily treats left for our enjoyment, the accessories, space & lighting options in the powder room.
The ambiance of this hotel, combined with the staff, made our stay memorable indeed.
I hope to be lucky enough to return!"
"An amazing property that is managed with love and care. The location was easy to find using Google Maps and we parked at the door. The view was spectacular, the service was incredible and the evening meal on the terrace was one of the best we have had. A refreshing pool and a 5 star breakfast buffet to set us up for the day. "
"Had a great stay at Hotel Italia. On arrival, flight was delayed and train from Rome delayed but lovely lady on the front desk offered to stay until nearly 9pm so she could check me in which was hugely appreciated after such a busy day travelling!
The room is big and airy, very tidy with a comfortable bed.
Location is perfect being only a 30 second walk from the main Piazza.
Already looking to book our next trip to Cortona and will be staying here again!"
Tuscan Dream: Gorgeous Private Cortona House with Fantastic Views, Garden & Pool
10/10 Excellent
"We absolutely loved our week in this gorgeous Tuscan Villa. It’s in a great location as we can easily walk into Cortona most days for lunch, dinner or aperitivo. The Villa is beautiful and has everything we need. It’s private, quiet, clean and the scenery around it is stunning. It was super hot in Tuscany and we used the pool everyday (our 10 year old grandson pretty much just stayed there). The description of the Villa is accurate as advertised. We were in Cortona 20 years ago and promised ourselves we will return soon to Villa Rosa - the perfect holiday home away from home. A special thanks to Christine who is an amazing communicator from the time we made the booking to the day we leave. Thank you for recommending Dejan to pick up our family from Rome airport, he helped us numerous times including during the national train strike - totally reliable. Oh and don’t forget to have dinners at Silvia’s restaurant Locanda Agli Amici which is just few minutes up the road. Superb food & views - so good we went back twice. "
