"Very comfort and cosy place with great service. We stayed there with friend's couple plenty space for all of us. This whole Japanese style house experience gave us such a delight, pleasant time. Wish we could have stayed longer. The location is also very good close to Gion area and within walking distance to Nishiki market and stations. Looking forward to staying again soon:)"

The bar at the hotel was convenient for a drink in the afternoon/evening. The staff was very friendly and the amenities were great (umbrellas to borrow during rain). "

"The staff were extremely helpful and friendly! Especially helping me set up my luggage forwarding. The location IS excellent, it is essentially right in the middle of Gion with several major attractions nearby such as Yasaka shrine (literally the next block over) and Pontocho alley. My best stay so far in Japan!"

"*English below 祇園のど真ん中で場所は非常に良かったです。寝室も広く、町屋の作りも面白い要素です。しかし、掃除がかけており、寝室に前の人の靴下が見つかりました。コーヒーメーカーはありがたいですが、コーヒーの用意もなく、管理者に連絡する必要がありました。キッチングッズでは皿を洗うスポンジも置いてなく、管理者にまたお願いする必要がありました。清掃業社と消耗品の確認、しっかりしていただきたい点です。予約の際も決済後にどのように部屋をアクセスできるかなど、案内が遅れましたので、初期段階の対応も改善できる点です。 Great location and traditional house with spacious interior. Cleaning and house amenities could be improved, together with the check-in process after booking. Needs more attention by the house manager but great potential. "
