"Stayed here for a quick trip and unfortunately it didn’t live up to expectations. The location was convenient, but the hotel felt outdated and not as clean as we hoped. The room had a musty smell, the hallways were noisy at night, the keys never worked on the outside doors & took several attempts to get to work at our room door! Housekeepers knocked on our door at 8:15 (a little early). Overall the experience just felt average for the price. Probably wouldn’t stay here again unless I needed something close by."

"It was overall good but no air conditioning we ended up sweating the whole night and if i had known i wouldn’t have paid all this. also there is no cold waters provided to you. it was good but definitely not what i had hoped for."

"The host was great. Very quick to respond to messages. This home is old but charming. We did see some gnarly centipedes so an exterminator is needed or do as we did and relocate them outside. The downstairs bathroom looks updated but no lip on shower stall makes water go all over the bathroom floor so be careful you don’t slip and fall. Laundry is in the basement which has very steep stairs. The home is easy to find and seems to be in a decent area. Grocery store is close by as well as the train station. All in all we loved our trip to Boston and can’t wait to visit again."

"The stay was okay overall, but there were a few issues that affected my experience. As mentioned in other reviews, the upstairs neighbors were noisy and I don’t believe it was intentional. There is not enough insulation to prevent you from hearing the noise (e.g., wood creaking, things being dropped, kid crying or screaming, etc.). Therefore, we did not sleep well our three nights staying in the condo. There was a lag in communication, as well, when messaging the host. We had to call through VRBO in order to reach the host. Lastly, we noticed there was existing hair in the drain of the tub when we arrived. With better cleanliness and responsiveness, the stay could be improved. The noise itself from upstairs is out of the host’s and renter’s hands."

"Mixed stay. It was a cute house, in a good location (if you have a car) that fit the 6 of us. The host was very accessible and the house decently equipped. Those are the positives. Now, the negatives. All three beds are atrociously soft with slanted mattresses, cheap polyester sheets and stains. The outdoor furniture (outdoor space was a prime reason we rented this house) was so dirty that none of us wanted to sit on it. The place had not been cleaned well before our arrival, including leftover milk being left out in the counter. There is no real coffee maker, just a Keurig. The owner's assistant never returned with a promised extension cord needed for a bedside lamp. The "adjoining" bedroom means you walk through one to get to the other. And finally, probably the most disconcerting, the owner messaged to tell us that parking should be in the driveway right as friends who parked on the street were leaving, making it ckear that she was watching (creepy), and in conflict with the sign in the house that says that street parking is acceptable.So, no, we wouldn't rent this house again, especially at the price point."

"The place far exceeded my expectations. We had 12 people in my party, and we all had plenty of room and were very comfortable. We were unfamiliar with the neighborhood and found it very charming and quiet, while there were plenty of dining and drinking establishments steps away. The owner, Jenny, communicated very well and quickly responded to any question I had. Everything was there for us. We literally only needed our clothes. The beds were amazingly comfortable, and everybody slept great. We even hosted a quick, casual dinner after our event and the place easily accommodated 20 guests. So, the space was great, Jenny was great, and the neighborhood was great. Nothing to complain about. It was a great weekend."
