Top Garberville Town Square Hotel Reviews
The Northern Inn
8/10 Good
"Very quiet location. Room was clean and comfortable. The only thing I would have added is a chair and desk, maybe instead of the chest of drawers which I never use. Check-in was quick and easy and our request for downstairs rooms was honored."
Motel Garberville
8/10 Good
"Plenty of parking. We arrived later than expected and woke the shop owner so that maybe why there was no welcome or small talk. Just pushed the paper to sign through the little window and handed me the key. The place was quiet until early in the morning when the Mexican laborers were continually pounding on the next-door. Trying to wake up one of their buddies. He was either in the bathroom or sound asleep, after that we were all awake. I do realize that has nothing to do with the property or the property owner. It’s just what happens at lower end hotels. I would stay again, it was clean, seriously outdated, but comfortable and parked right outside my door 4 not a lot of money."
Glamping in the Redwoods, with a hot tub! The Orchard
10/10 Excellent
"We would definitely come back"
Dean Creek Resort
8/10 Good
"Too many cats running around the resort for someone allergic to cats!"
Mary's Place is a historic cottage with private garden in the center of town.
10/10 Excellent
"Great cozy cottage in a perfect location to see the redwoods. We had a wonderful stay!"
Benbow Historic Inn
8/10 Good
"It’s an old hotel expect it to be that, but it was clean. I read the reviews so I was expecting it to be old so I was not disappointed. It is a Beautiful hotel with a nice European History. Our room smelled like old cigarettes and old people. My husband had to get the spider and his web off of the ceiling…It was dark even in the day time. We heard a door close very loudly early in the morning and at night. It was Very Loud! It’s a well preserved place but it’s over due for a complete remodel of the room 110. I only know it this room. It’s one the best rooms and only two of them. It just smelled so bad I had to use my deodorant as an air freshener. I got home and was charged for room a second time and it was less than what I had originally paid through Expedia. So what is the real price? Our were we gouged on-line? We were there for the Raggae Festival. We paid more booking it on-line and in advance. We were offered a buffet that was being offered due to the event but I think it was expensive for what they offered $65.00 for two for the basics, no smoked salmon, shrimp or mimosas. I am still trying to figure out the resort fees and what makes it a resort? Would I go again? It depends. They have an EV charger which had we known we would have driven our EV they don’t mention it online. We definitely appreciated the shuttle that picked us up and took us to the event although the hotel had no knowledge of it when we called and inquired about it."
The Hobbit House: Avenue of The Giants Adventure!
10/10 Excellent
"Perfect for us, our four adult kids and my grandchildren. Everyone including our two Brittanys loved it. The outdoor kitchen was fabulous for our family dinners."
Miranda Gardens Resort
8/10 Good
"Everything was fine, just one cons: there is no breakfast included for this high price."
Little House in the Redwoods with hot tub!
10/10 Excellent
"We chose the place based on its location to The Avenue of Giants. It was just what we needed. The host was excellent with communication and detailed directions to the property. We enjoyed the quiet getaway from the busyness of our normal lives."
