Top Garberville Town Square Hotel Reviews
The Northern Inn
8/10 Good
"The location was perfect. I was able to check in late after a long drive and exploring the redwoods."
Dean Creek Resort
10/10 Excellent
"I love it here! Nice and quiet with a convenient river access. Everyone that works there is so helpful and friendly. They have a pool and sauna as well! And their cute little convenient store is nice if you need ice or any last minute snacks. They even left us fire wood which was so nice. Definitely a nice place for a getaway! I’ll be visiting every year!"
Eel River Retreat: Deck, Hot Tub & Evo Grill
8/10 Good
" Amazing Stay with Incredible ViewsOverall, our stay was amazing! The house was spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The deck was definitely one of our favorite features—we spent most of our time outside enjoying the incredible views and beautiful surroundings. The beds were comfortable, and there were plenty of linens available. We especially loved the music on the outdoor deck, which made spending time outside even more enjoyable. Cooking outdoors was another highlight and something our group really enjoyed. Our host was wonderful! They responded very quickly whenever we had questions and were extremely helpful throughout our entire stay. The only disappointment was the hot tub. It was listed as an available feature, but unfortunately, we were unable to use it due to its condition. We had been looking forward to enjoying the hot tub, so that was a bit of a letdown.Despite that, we had a fantastic stay and really enjoyed the house, the outdoor space, and the beautiful views. We would definitely consider staying here again!"
Mary's Place is a historic cottage with private garden in the center of town.
10/10 Excellent
"Mary’s cottage is a special place with very good vibes. The garden was a lovely surprise and more than expected with the trickling fountain and beautiful trees and so many birds. It is a peaceful haven despite the street noise from being on a busy corner. Mary’s cottage was a place I wanted to be. We were there to see the Redwoods but the time we enjoyed inside Mary’s cottage was an equal highlight because the cozy kitchen and relaxing garden made the end of our days something to look forward to. We took advantage of the natural foods store across the street both nights of our stay. Our opinion is Garberville is not a destination itself, it is a struggling town and our original idea of strolling and exploring was not appealing. I don’t recommend watching any Netflix documentaries about the history of the emerald triangle while you are there, lol. But Mary’s cottage is special and I would return to Garberville for that. I also preferred the southern location in the county as a base for sightseeing. I usually stay much farther north but I enjoyed this alternative and would choose it again. The weather did not cooperate with our planned day trip to shelter cove, I look forward to that in the future! I would love to know what mattress is in the bedroom that opens to the garden, I got the best sleep ever!"
Little House in the Redwoods with hot tub!
10/10 Excellent
"Loved this off the grid little house! So quiet and great place to reset!"
Glamping in the Redwoods, with a hot tub! The Orchard
10/10 Excellent
"We would definitely come back"
The Hobbit House: Avenue of The Giants Adventure!
10/10 Excellent
"This place is wonderful! Great central location to explore the redwoods. The house is so cool. We went with multiple families and there was room to spare in the loft for the 6 kids. The loft feels like a treehouse and is so fun. Lots of amenities on the premise with everything you need. The hot tube was wonderful after days of exploring. The outdoor fire is perfect for hanging out at night. Beds were comfortable. Showers and bathrooms were nice. Definitely recommend!"
Explore Redwood forests on the Avenue of The Giants and the Eel river
8/10 Good
"Very nice house with 5 roomy bedrooms, living room, and kitchen. Dining room could use a bigger table and chair set. If there were 9- 12 people staying there is a shortage of seats. That being said the house was very well decorated and generally very clean with lots of linens provided. There is a shaded outdoor patio and plenty of parking in the front. Location is very good -- close to town, The Avenue of the Giants, and Benbow Inn.Big bonus for kids with toys, games, play kitchen and a passway between the bedroom and dining room (which kids loved).Host was very responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!"
