It's near the Redwood Avenue! We love walking and driving through the area! Also liked the Humboldt bar and grill in garberville excellent place to eat.

This is a great value for the price. It's a, older, homey little resort with a great pool and super-friendly staff. Very laid back with pets allowed. They have fire pits available and we stayed in one of the hotel rooms where we were able to have a fire right out the back patio from our room. Families were playing on the lawn and the kids were perfectly safe to run around well into dark, swim in the pool, and have fun without worry of cars or strangers. I would definitley come back!

Great location and Value

This is a cut little hotel just south of the avenue of the giants. The staff are very friendly and you are basically staying in the middle of the forest right off highway 101. The rooms are cozy cabin style, not fancy but comfortable.

Was cheerfully greeted by the owner upon check in and went to my spacious suite. Looked out the back patio to a large green area of beautiful countryside. Beautiful and quiet.

Nice room for a night or two (I was passing through on my way to Oregon from So Cal). I was in room 10. It felt spacious, especially travling alone. High ceilings with wood beams gave it a nice rustic feel. There is Laundry on one side and public bathroom (for the pool area maybe) on the other, so no direct neighbors to speak of (room had its own shower)… it was quiet. Very friendly staff. Pod coffee and tea in the room. Patio was sufficient. It had a table with a couple chairs and it was nice to chill with a drink after a long day on the road and just gaze out over the grass into the mountains. I’d stay here again.

Great location. Near Eel River and Dean Creek. Friendly check in. Check in time was 4 pm but we arrived at 1:30 pm and our room was already available. The water was shut off due to a plumbing issue but it was resolved in 20 minutes. Meanwhile Lisa, the manager, gave us a free gallon of water. Very close to the Avenue of the Giants and Shelter Cove.

We loved staying here during our motorcycle trip! We got one of the cabins along the back near the river, and had a fire in the pit. It was so serene and restful. We absolutely would love to stay here again!

This cute cabin in the woods was the perfect weekend gettaway. Just a short walk to the Eel River and having our own firepit in front of our cabin just made our stay alittle more special. The front of house was always super kind and friendly. We definitely would stay here again!
