"The hotel is aesthetically beautiful and in a great location of the French Quarter. Everything is walkable. The lobby is pretty and smells of lemongrass (almost like a spa). The rooms are clean and spacious. Bathrooms are modern and updated. The staff were okay, not entirely helpful or friendly (not nasty). The breakfast was tasty but limited. Very carb friendly (every morning was biscuits with gravy, grits, muffins, pastries, etc) so they could use some variety. Unfortunately we didn’t get room...

"Very well appointed, clean, well staffed historical property right in the heart of the historic district. Extremely close to worthwhile horse drawn carriage rides and shopping galore at the famed city market and small street side shops. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise, plentiful and fresh! The staff were so friendly for breakfast and afternoon cheeses & wine, also complimentary! Valet service went beyond plus the bicycle taxis were also readily available and reasonable."

"I had an excellent stay at Kings Courtyard Inn! Everything was truly on point. The front desk team was supportive and welcoming, the rooms were very clean, and room service was quick and responsive. The location is perfect, right in the heart of downtown Charleston, making it easy to explore the city. The breakfast was very good, and I especially enjoyed the daily wine and cheese reception from 5–6 PM. It was beautifully arranged and a wonderful touch. The charming courtyard with the fountain...

"Room service cleaning was lacking. Several items were not replaced. The coffee pots did nor work. They were Hamilton beach. We requested a replacement in one rom with a Keurig that worked. -some trash was not picked up. The hotel was nice well located and very historic. Bathrooms are very small. But in general we like our stay"
