"Beautiful, small boutique hotel in great location off the Ring road route near Skógafoss and 30 min from Dyrhólaey and black sand beach. Staff is lovely and dinner is great. It is somewhat isolated so dining at the hotel is the easiest as it’s probably a 40 minute drive to Vik. There is a 15 min private walk on property to black sand beach with virtually no one in sight for miles - stunning. At night horses came from the nearby farm to drink from the little pond outside our window and guests were feeding them. A great, peaceful hotel. "

"Excellent property and staff. Breakfast was adequate. Coffee was nice and there was coffee and tea service as well as a small refrigerator in the room that made it quite convenient. Bathroom was quite comfortable. I would highly recommend this property. "

"Hotel Lambafell is brand new and a gorgeous property. The bedroom was large with a king bed. The bathroom was clean and had plenty of hot water. The breakfast was delicious, with much variety of food. There is a hot tub in the back."
