"Not the easiest cottage to find since it took 2 attempts! However, once located we were thrilled to find picture postcard perfect home away from home. Clean, comfortable, and well appointed with nice outdoor space. Very easy access to local countryside."

"The property is incredibly well located, just a few steps from the Farringdon station which could be easily reached from anywhere in central London in about 15 minutes or so, the area is very walkable and there are many good options to have breakfast, lunch or even a fancy dinner. The apartment definitively needs work, the coach is ripped and cover with blankets to "disguise" the ripped area. "We had an amazing stay at the Old Wharf Cottage in Windsor. The home is amazing and a wonderful location. We loved having the pool, bbq and area for croquet. It was easy to get around town with our rental car or Uber. The hosts were great and easy to connect with as needed. This was one of the key highlights of our two weeks in the UK. "A wonderful tucked away cottage. It has a lovely little garden where my daughter was able to work with the sound of birds to keep her company. We particularly like character cottages and you couldn't ask for more but at the same time modern and so comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked and up to date. "This was a great location - very close to frequent rail connecting to tube - fairly close to two tube stations. The neighbourhood was very pretty and the closest 'high street' had a wonderful Turkish vibe - great baklava! There were also other great high streets within walking distance, each unique. "My husband and I cannot say enough good things about our stay with Hamish and Susie! This was BY FAR the best VRBO we ever have stayed in. There was not one detail missed. "It was such fun to stay at the Gatehouse! There was plenty of room for my family of 5. The neighborhood was quiet with stores within 5-10 minutes of driving. We were 10 minutes from Windsor castle and 15 minutes from the train we took into London. Leslie was WONDERFUL!!! It was so fun to meet her. My daughter says to tell everyone that the dog and chickens are sweet. :)"

"Our family were attending a wedding nearby. The house was exactly as described. Rooms were great. Very comfy beds! There was 1 bathroom upstairs with a shower, bath and toilet and 1 toilet downstairs. The lounge had plenty of sofa space. Also a lovely big kitchen. We were able to use the garden furniture on the sun trap patio. Shopping parade was a 5-10 minute drive away. Everyone loved their stay at the property and we would thoroughly recommend a group of 6-8 people having a stay here."

"Excellent comfortable cottage, very well equipped, spotlessly clean, with amazing views across the farmland beyond. Some nice local pubs within a couple of miles for food and/or drink.
