"The setting in such a quiet rural location but only minutes from Wadebridge and the cottage suited us perfectly for our purpose for being in the area. We had some queries about the property before arrival and found Sykes support lacking but the house keeper for the cottage was really helpful and was able to help us on 2 occasions with instant replies. What a difference a real person makes! The cottage was lovely and warm, very clean and organised with a new kitchen and appliances that were...

The location is fantastic, making it an ideal base for exploring the surrounding area, with the added bonus of being within easy walking distance of Padstow for a relaxing evening stroll and a meal. "The room was clean and spacious the food was very good. The staff were friendly and helpful. This is a great place to chill out but you need to be mobile or have a car. As we holiday in Port Isaac annually we knew the hotel and its location as we had dined there a number of times. We were curious about the accommodation and this was a great place to do nothing and spoil ourselves. We would not hesitate to return."

"This is a great place to stay, the room we booked was a family room and had a king size and two singles plus a sofa and table in the living area so lots of room. The bathroom had a bath and excellent separate shower. The staff were really friendly and the pub itself busy with great food at attractive prices. An excellent cooked breakfast was also included, all for just over £100. Next time I'm in the area, I will definitely stay here again."

"This was a very comfortable stay. The area was beautiful as was the building. The staff were lovely and our bed was very comfortable for a great sleep after a long day on the road sight seeing. Thank you for your lovely accommodation - 10/10"

"This was a very quaint hotel right in front of the harbor. We loved this property a lot as it reflected the way of life in a small fishing village. The breakfast there was very nice."

"The hotel was comfortable and clean, the parking was perfect. The staff were extremely helpful and chatty they went out of their way to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The on-site restaurant was lovely, the food was excellent. Location was ideal, near to all the attractions. We found the local pub next door’s very friendly."

"Rooms were basic but reasonably well kept. Ideal location for walks, sightseeing. Pastries are a nice touch in the room."
