"The location is beautiful. The facility is beautiful. It was a perfect weekend getaway., and it is a great place to use as a home base when exploring Southern California. If we didn't have 1000 things planned to do in S Cal, I'd be just as content to sit poolside all weekend and enjoy the peace this place has to offer. "

"We spent our spring break at Bandy Canyon Ranch. It was wonderful! Our family (Dad, Mom, 2 young kids) stayed in the Peacock Cottage. It's recently been renovated and was very comfortable. A quick note: BCR got new owners a few years back, and they're actively investing in the property. They're going through each cottage to upgrade/renovate it. (One was actively being worked on while we were there.) The same is true of the grounds. Our kids loved the pool area. The grounds were fun and *beautiful*, full of plants and birds. They also have a playground area and games for kids to play. We loved our time, but also could see it's going to be even better when the upgrades are finished. BCR doesn't have a restaurant on site. They offer several boxed meal/treat options (breakfast, snacks, charcuterie, treats, etc). On weekends, they have a pizza oven, and they'll prepare some great 12" pies, made to order. (Delicious.) They also had a movie night on one of their lawns, but it was past our kids' bedtimes. BCR is a short drive from the Safari Park, and it's a perfect option if you're going there. We will most certainly be back, with the intention of traveling with a few other families, as this is a great, intimate spot to travel with a group of friends/family. (I'm betting this will end up being a desirable wedding venue too.). Last thing: they have an animal sanctuary on site that our kiddos were delighted by. 5 stars."

"We traveled from Colorado to Escondido to vacation for a few days and this was a very pleasant stay. A beautiful home in a beautiful area. It was perfect for all ages that were present. The pool was very nice, so was the BBQ area which we did use. Everything was clean and well organized. Also Mo responded quickly if I had a question, which I really appreciated. Would recommend and would stay again"

"Check in was a breeze. Communication with host (Mo) was great. Any questions we had during our stay were handle very quickly. Wish my family was that quick. Very spacious home. The game room in the garage was great. The kitchen had everything we needed. The backyard was great. The view made us feel like we were all by ourselves. Just be careful of the back patio area, it is tiled and quite slippery so. Highly recommend. "
