The Hoxton, Shepherd's Bush

"Another great stay at the Hoxton. We really like the location, it is safe and accessible to transportation and shipping. The staff is wonderful and everyone is working constantly to keep things neat and orderly. Housekeeping was great too. This is the 3rd year in a row that we stay at the Hoxton and we will return again in fall. We highly recommend this hotel on your next visit to London."

"Have been to this Hotel several times now. Always a good experience and friendly staff who seem to remember you. Nice small compact home but everything was great. Nice bed and a good shower and soft towels. This hotel offers air conditioning which is needed at the moment. Look forward to returning in the Autumn."

"The hotel is beautifully maintained and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The only downside was that I asked to arrange a cab which they called for me with the cab company quoting a fixed price of £25 which I thought at the time was expensive but assumed this to be the going rate even though it was only about a 10min journey,. However on the return journey a black cab charged me £14 for the same journey - I queried this with the staff member who called the cab but was informed this was because it was a fixed price journey. The fixed price was quoted at £25 for cash or £26 for credit card and I pointed out that under UK consumer law its no longer legal to have a higher price for a credit card transaction. The hotel staff member appeared not to be aware of this, no apparently did the cab company. My advice is only get the hotel to book a black cab."
