"We had the jacuzzi suite and it was lovely. The room was clean, staff were great air conditioning worked and windows opened for fresh air. The hotel is mature so may need a few minor repairs but that didn't have any impact on our stay. Hotel cafe was great and the two servers are terrific."

"This hotel is like going back in time, to a time when hotel staff and amenities were Soley focused on the guest. This place is just magical. We were able to take advantage of the gold lounge with a fabulous view of the harbor and delicious hors d'oeuvres. The staff, from the bellhops to the check in desk to the waitstaff at the lounge and restaurants, are absolutely the politest, the most helpful group of any hotel we have ever been exposed to. Do not miss a chance to stay here when in Victoria."
