Easy drive to most of the Daintree area but you can definitely enjoy a chill day with breathtaking views there as well. Very clean and environmental friendly rooms. Delicious local food is served as breakfast. Matt is such a great host. Thanks for everything! We will definitely come back!"

"Amazing place! Has everything you need except cellular service - but let’s be honest you don’t need that either. Host was great and had suggestions on things to see nearby. The on property swimming hole was so nice for a hot summer day. Visit the insect museum nearby if it is open. "

"We had a great stay. George the owner is very proud of his property and showed us all around his gardens. The rooms were spacious, clean and modern. Very convenient to Daintree Discovery Center. All damage from the December 2023 “extreme rain event” have been repaired. Don’t hesitate to book. You can have breakfast and dinner at the hotel cafe. Otherwise, there are very limited restaurant options, and no markets nearby, so stock up before you get on the ferry, either at Mossman or Port Douglas....

The pool table and dartboard kept us entertained in the evening after our days out.Dean was an excellent host and answered all questions promptly and had some great tips. It was our first time in the Daintree and recommend stopping off at Mossman to pick up whatever you need before your get to the property.Highly recommend a stay at La Vista if you’re heading up...
