"I recently stayed at the Daintree Wilderness Lodge and have to say that it quickly became one of my favorite locations while on a two week journey though Australia. Not only are you immersed in the middle of the rainforest, but you have some of the best staff around with some great recommendations. I look forward to returning to the lodge again, hopefully soon!"

"Dean’s property is an absolutely amazing space, thank you for allowing us to stay there. My husband and I have not stayed anywhere like it. A diamond in the rough in an incredible location. The view is remarkable. We felt instant peace surrounded by the incredibly ancient trees. Almost as if we too were living up in the trees. Cannot recommend it enough. It really has everything you need to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of life."

"What an amazing place to stay!! I really can’t find the words to justify how wonderful this place was! The privacy, the security of the yard for our small dogs, the creek was just amazing, and everything we needed was supplied in the cottage. We will definitely be returning and sharing this with our friends (although not too many because then it’ll be booked out all the time and we won’t be able to come back and stay)."

"The family loved our stay at La Vista. The views and surrounds were spectacular and the place is spotless with everything we needed. The pool table and dartboard kept us entertained in the evening after our days out.Dean was an excellent host and answered all questions promptly and had some great tips. It was our first time in the Daintree and recommend stopping off at Mossman to pick up whatever you need before your get to the property.Highly recommend a stay at La Vista if you’re heading up to the Daintree."
