Cape Tribulation is a very unique and special location. It’s certainly worth exploring and staying the night. The cabin was clean and the ensuite was large and clean. It was ideal having the ensuite because it was raining and although the amenities weren’t far, it wouldn’t have been unpleasant having to leave the comfort of your room to shower or use a toilet. Perhaps the price is up there, but I guess it’s fairly remote. Staff friendly, pub across the road made lovely pizza.
Location was so beautiful so close to nature gorgeous beach. Due to rural area only a few options for food but still good one walkable couple very short drive. We did one night cooking on the campsite bbqs which was lovely. Lots of options for tours too.
We had an absolutely amazing stay here! The property is absolutely gorgeous. We booked the snorkelling tour with them as well which was super convenient, the tour its self was wonderful definitely recommend!!

The pool was a great way to relax and cool down at the end of the day
Had a wonderful stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Nowhere anywhere like this on earth. Very chilled and relaxed.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Very rustic property, eco ethos was very evident with signs everywhere about water conservation. Enjoyed my stay, booked onto a snorkelling tour that the lodge also offers which was incredible. My only disappointment was the lodge not having a hairdryer that I could borrow following the snorkelling, maybe something to consider.
Loved our stay in the jungle! Great food at the cafe. Snorkelling the Great Barrier Reef was amazing—make sure you rent a wetsuit to avoid a bad burn! Room was clean & ensuite bathroom was great. Loved sitting out on the little porch in the evenings.
This hotel was amazing. Such a cool experience nestled in the middle of the rainforest. It was a beautiful property with lots of activities available close by.
The room was beautiful and clean and the property was gorgeous. Amazing shared amenities and pool.. and a store right across the street for food/drinks etc. and there is a walking path so you can explore the rainforest right out the front door
My Safari Lodge was on the edge of the jungle and incorporated the jungle into my room with open shutters enhancing the feel. It was modern, very comfortable and clean.
We had wonderful lunches and all the attractions were within easy driving distance.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
They should be submitting a refund the staff member said she would. Aircon leaked on the bed - not suitble to then sleep in. Staff were lovely Awiting refund.
Pretty good value for king cabin (shared bathroom). Common areas are kept clean. Quite easy to go to various walks although would need a car. Should book tours in advance as they sold out. Also should eat at Turtle Rock cafe, the food is great there.
Our stay at Safari Lodge was amazing!
Our cabin was very clean, & was big enough for 3 of us for 3 nights.
The amenities were clean and close by. The camp kitchen also close by and a lovely spot to chat with other visitors.
We loved the gardens and pool area, and just a short walk through the forest to the beach.
Make sure to grab a bite at Turtle Rock cafe, and highly recommend booking a tour with Ocean Safari.
Everything you need right at your doorstep.
We’d love to return one day to this amazing part of the world.
Great location to bases yourself at Cape Tribulation.
This effectively is the end of the 2 wheel drive road. Our King hut was comfortable had a bathroom with shower, air conditioning and a ceiling fan. In a semi private area the porch with outside chairs and table was a nice spot to relax. The shared facilities at the camp were great, good bathrooms, a large kitchen, refrigeration and coin operated washing machines. The on site Cafe offers breakfast and lunch. The camp has a swimming pool and is where the Great Barrier Reef Ocean Safari leaves from. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Beautiful and peaceful location, however the linen was dirty and there were crumbs on the bed. The cushions smell like mildew, the curtains need changing as there were mold on them creating a mildew smell.
