"The room we were originally allocated had faulty lighting in the bathroom – the central light didn’t work at all, and the one over the mirror flashed constantly. It must’ve been like that when it was cleaned after the previous guest, but had clearly not been attended to. When I raised this, the person working on reception quickly allocated us to a another room, which was quite satisfactory."

"Nice independent hotel located 15 mins from NEC. Stayed during exhibition visit. Room was in the stable block which does not look like much on the outside but the room was very comfortable with all the amenities, if a little on the bijou side. AC etc all provided. Desk is more geared as dressing rather than for work. Restaurant food was excellent and the breakfast was cooked to order and excellent. Overall would stay here again if visiting the area. Good value."

"Excellent staff, decent location. Our first two nights of a three night stay were faultless. On the third a wedding party arrived and the noise from the neighbouring room was astounding. They were not shouting but “drunk loud” and the inter room soundproofing was found out badly. Shame really. "
