"Room was ok but no aircon just a fan. Windows opened on to a noisy road. This went on all night. Shower had lots of mould on it. When we came back from breakfast the linen and towels for the next people were on the floor outside each room so no doubt ours had spent time on the floor too. Awful as people’s shoes may have been on it. Breakfast was poor. Stuff not topped up speedily. Coffee table chairs so low unusable and everyone cramped on benches. "We had 3 lovely nights at Janine's apartment, and Janine was delightful to work with. The apartment was cozy, and it was only a 15 minute drive to the heart of Rouen. It was ideal to be so close to the city, yet in a quiet smaller area. The apartment was very comfortable and furnished nicely, very clean & tidy. We'd love to visit again! Thank you, Janine!"

"We arrived at the hotel hot and tired. to find it was closed. We had no prior warning, only a notice on the door giving a telephone number. We called this number and were diverted to another hotel, the Beausejour, ten minutes walk away. The room here was shabby with no wifi and no breakfast available."

"It took me awhile to find the hotel entrance as the sign is the same color of gray as the stone entrance. And, my roller bag made quite a racket bouncing over the cobblestones. Inside the courtyard I found a peaceful terrace and views of half-timbered houses, a lovely entry for sipping coffee or a beer. I had one of the cheapest rooms and it was perfect for one. Very comfortable bed, windows that opened, and a spotless bathroom. While relatively small, it was private and quiet. I made use of the gym every day for yoga and enjoyed reading my book under the shadow of Flaubert’s statue in the evenings. I ate one breakfast on site and it was adequate. I just have different eating habits. Overall, an excellent value."
