"The best of Bahia Principe is definitely the people. Maria, the general Manager, was always taking care that everyone was having a good time and enjoying their vacation. Le Gourmet was the best restaurant. Hector, Mavel, Jose D. and Christopher were amazing taking care of all the members of our family. At the main buffet, Yuly was always on top of everything. "I loved how they want to share the Dominican culture with guests with rooms decorated like our traditional farmer's house style in the Dominican Campo. I loved how close to the beach it is, the amazing lady in the front that made check in and check out smooth. In general excellent experience. Room is basuc so don't expect much. "

"Very slow check-in due to incompetent staff (and the lack of a proper front desk). Spacious and quiet room, but just OK for the price. No black-out curtains. Cockroaches in the bathroom. Lift does not work. Remote area far from everything. No beach on premises. Bare amenities (just 2 small bars of soap). No hot water."
