"Perfect hotel but no parking"

"The hotel was located some distance from the Main Autoroute (10 minutes), which was fine. We arrived very late and were told that the hotel did not accept pets - despite choosing it specifically because it said that it DID accept pets in the app we used (Hotels.com) The owner of the hotel was very friendly and after a short discussion allowed us to stay with our dogs. The room was a little on the small side for a double and very small for a triple (which was how the room was set up). Location...

"Family of 4 short stay - we had a lovely 4 days at Le Panorama. The staff were amazing and so helpful. The lounge and dining area are very relaxing and welcoming. The rooms are ok. In need of a little modernizing but were warm and functional. The swimming pool was at the end of a strange spiral staircase but the water was warm and good after skiing. Good location with easy access to town."

Although the hotel is situated along a road that is busy during the day, there was little traffic during the night and the double pane windows prevent from hearing it. "The Novotel in Clermont-Ferrand was conveniently just off the autoroute. Good protected parking and very efficient check-in. (And they are DOG FRIENDLY). Rooms are what you expect, although our room was way too warm and even we couldn't regulate the temperature satisfactorily. Not sure what was going on, but the thermostat was not responding.
