"Nothing like the pictures when we booked. Very shabby accommodation. One indoor very crowded pool and No facilities on site, you have to go int Saumur which is a lovely city. You have to pay extra for bedding . Beds uncomfortable and furniture all very old. Definitely not worth the money. "

"This is an excellent choice for seeing Saumur. It is in an old building with a lot of character. My room was large, with wooden beamed ceiling, tall windows that opened, and a limestone fireplace I wish I had in my home. Ensuite had shower and had plenty of space. Bed was comfortable. Fantastic Hotel & great value for money.
"Fantastic Hotel and met all our expectations. Room was very good. Breakfast was superb. Very good value! Bar area very comfortable and drinks reasonably priced. Beautiful art deco style hotel with an amazing staircase. Very clean and tidy hotel. Staff were brilliant! Will definitely be staying here again particularly as the partner restaurant located across the courtyard was fablulous."
