"Plenty of contact initially by the proprietor which was appreciated. The young girl on arrival was helpful and accommodating. I would prefer not to elaborate on the condition of the room or building in general. But would stress the chic was missing from shabby/chic. "

"The chateau was spotlessly clean and perfect for a weekend reunion with friends. All 18 (ensuite) bedrooms were made up beautifully with towels and shower gel left for each guest. "Our family met up with 3 other families to share the Chateau for a week. It was a fabulous way to spend time together and explore the Loire Valley. William and Susy made our stay easy and fun by recommending local activities and coordinating two evenings of catered meals. I highly recommend this property. It’s a idyllic property and has several on-site activities. We utilized the pool almost every day with the kids."

Access was poor as the lift was out of service and the steep stairwells would have challenged Sherpa tensing "

"We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful house! Annie and François were so kind and friendly, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The rooms were spacious and beautiful, and the garden was amazing. Some of my children finally learned to swim confidently in the lovely saltwater pool. We visited the château at Saumur and the old town square, and enjoyed every moment of our holiday. We hope to stay here again another year!"

"My partner and I stayed overnight at this location during a bicycle tour through the Loire Valley. This property was very memorable. Our room had a hot tub which was a huge asset at the end of our day. The host was very accommodating, she even cooked us dinner. The food and wine offered on site were great, and the local wildlife (Leon the peacock) was a great source of entertainment at breakfast. I would definitely recommend this property, and I hope to someday go back."
