"Three day trip to Tours, France. Hotel is very close to the main train station and easily walkable to all of the main attractions and shopping. Breakfast was good with plenty of options and self-service everything. Check in guy was a little brusque but everyone else was friendly and helpful."

"This is a good stopover hotel in a convenient location. The room is small and basic. You get a bed, single pillows, tv, small desk with a stool, shower cubicle with separate wc, sink is in the room. There are absolutely no frills like a lock on the toilet door or a kettle. For the money it is fine and comfortable enough. You can buy coffee and snacks from vending machines as well as basic toileteries. Eating options are limited. The hotel has no restaurant but had an order point for food...

"We stopped for one night on our way back to the UK. Langeais is a very pretty small town on the Loire with a beautiful Chateau in the centre. La Fleur de Lys is a small hotel right in the centre. Our room was good sized, well equipped and very clean. It also had the facility to make hot drinks in the room - which is not always the case in France. "Faulty towers like- nice chateau crumbling into decay. Putty actually missing from window leaving a gap/ mummified insect on frame- no shower/ no aircom/ no safe/no tv/ missing hairdryer"
