"The hotel has an elegant exterior and the rooms boast high ceilings. The parking is free and the situation is lovely as it overlooks the river and a lovely park. The rooms were decorated a la 50’s - dated, dingy. Steep steps to negotiate for my blind dog. Lovely staff."

"Everything was lovely. The bathroom was a little old and didn’t have a shower curtain so the floor got very wet. But it was a lovely stay. The room also had a bit of an overpowering smell of artificial cherry’s/berries which is fine. But just a little over powering with an artificial smell. But the room was very clean and if I was in the area I would stay here again! "

Decent accommodations, with the givens of walking up and down numerous stairs, dark hallways, etc. Personnel there ranges from: exceptionally sweet young woman - who carried our heavy suitcases up two steep stairs (no elevator) - to a very unfriendly male. "Beautiful quaint hotel. Would have been perfect but it was very hot when we were there but hotel quickly provided a fan that helped. The breakfast was very good and we loved the area. "
