"Lovely, quaint manor in the beautiful countryside just outside of busy London. Front desk staff very pleasant! Enjoyed my stay!"

"Terrible nights stay. The door of the club room had a gap of about 1 inch at the bottom and any corridor noise was heard even with towels blocking the gap. Female occupants of the room opposite were rowdy, loud and had lots of “gentlemen callers” all through the night. The night staff were informed 3 times but no action was taken. They had plenty of opportunity as the “ladies” went outside for smokes every hour and banged the door on exit and entry. I know it’s hard to control bad behavior but I felt very let down that no attempt was made by staff to talk to the “ladies” when they were in there room. Seemed like everyone on our floor apart from the “ladies” were at Starbucks when it opened all complaining about the lack of sleep and staff inaction. "

"Lovely stay at this picturesque hotel. Friendly staff. Beautiful restaurant. Clean and offers lovely grounds to walk around. Breakfast could be a little better. "

"Lots of attentive smiling staff, so well done on this. So much character. They have substantial conference and wedding capability so could be busy at times, was quiet whilw we were there. Superior bedroom excellent great space and other facilities good. Beautiful gardens, watch out for the 40 peacocks that live here! Breakfast delicious and restaurant food also good quality. Cost topish but not horrendously. Didnt use spa but they state a problem with water temp which is only 22 degrees apparently "

"On arrival at the hotel one of our rooms was not ready at 2pm but had a complementary drink because of it this is something that needs looking at. I do not normally fill these surveys in but I have to compliment this hotel for the friendly welcome by all areas of your team. Reception, bar, pool and restaurant for there smile’s helpful and having time to chat with the customers please keep it up."

"This hotel is absolute luxury. There were 8 of us altogether celebrating a 60th birthday. The staff are very attentive the food just divine and the facilities are just superb. We used the spa services and the pool area. We had afternoon high tea and ate at the cast-iron grill in the evening . Had yhe best time"
