"Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. I stayed in the Mansion House which had a lovely rustic feel but was also very clean and modern. The whole site had a lovely feel and the other building with the pool etc looked very modern and also had some nice cosy seating areas. We didn't use any facilities but had a look around and everything looked brand new! Would love to stay here again. "

In line with its charming character, stairs are steep to rooms and floorboards wonky, so not good for people with reduced mobility. The en-suite in the room was large, bed comfortable. Had dinner and breakfast, food is great. All staff are friendly and helpful, particularly Carlos who was brilliant. "

"We used the hotel for an overnight stay after a wedding in Windsor. We arrived late, as we couldn't check in early. We were shown to a room in one of the buildings that was being renovated. We were told the hotel was being upgraded when we checked in , a forewarning may have been helpful though The room was clean but 'tired'. "A very kind receptionist was able to accommodate me in a brand new refurbished room,with a kitchenette facility,as a free upgrade,and at an earlier checking in. That enabled me to continue with the work in a peaceful environment,accompanied by the bird song throughout. Away from the bustle of the city centre,yet very close,within a walking distance,within this part of the conservation area. Definitely great potential there."
