David greeted us and was very helpful at a time of need, great location and helpful staff, they went out of their way to make me feel special on my birthday :)
Excellent hotel, stay for my birthday, great personal touches. An excellent location with parking and a clean, comfortable and stylish room, enjoyed afternoon tea in the new restaurant Penningtons and a drink in the bar, would definitely recommend and stay again. Thankyou to the Castle Hotel for a special Birthday stay.
It was centrally located to Windsor Castle. We stayed in the Mews, The room was large with a nice seating area and was recently renovated and nicely updated. The hotel parking is limited so we utilized a parking garage down the street. We would stay here again.
This hotel is centrally located across from Windsor Castle. The location is perfect for easy walking access to the downtown area and the castle. The property is currently completing a renovation project. I would definitely stay here again.
Even though going through renovations - rooms were large , staff was extremely helpful and adjustments made to our reservation were upgraded to accommodate the renovations- perfectly located across from castle, shopping and restaurants.
Great location in the centre of Windsor, a couple of minutes walk from the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.
We had a wonderful stay at this lovely hotel. The location was perfect for exploring all the sights, making it an ideal base for our visit.
The staff were warm, friendly and welcoming, and we were very pleasantly surprised to be upgraded on arrival, which was much appreciated. Our room was cosy, comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.
Breakfast was also very enjoyable, with plenty to choose from. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would happily stay here again. Thank you to all the team for making our stay so enjoyable!
Hotel was undergoing renovations when we stayed, but that didn't impact is at all. Great location, rooms are clean and large, staff was really helpful.
Not handicap accessible, as there were several small flights of stairs, which is common in Europe.
I booked this hotel for a birthday stay in Windsor and it was perfect. The location of the hotel means everything you’ll want to see is within easy walking distance. The hotel was easy to reach via car and had plenty of parking spaces; parking is charged. The staff at the hotel were also lovely. Overall if you’re considering booking this hotel for a stay in Windsor I’d give it a 5 out of 5.
The staff was overly helpful and friendly. We felt very welcomed. Very nice amenities in the room: selection of drinks, soaps and lotion, cookies. Great location across from the castle. Remodeling was taking place during our visit. It was not disruptive, just needed to use alternative entry to the hotel.

Even though there is significant building work being conducted this did not detract from our stay. We were attending the Royal Marines presentation of new colours at the castle and so the location was brilliant for us.
The staff were helpful and the day we took breakfast in our room it was excellent.
While the hotel was slightly busy due to recent renovations, it did not affect my stay at all. In fact, after an exhausting intercontinental flight, the warm and welcoming service from both the reception staff and the manager was truly appreciated and made my stay very comfortable. The hotel's location in the heart of Windsor is excellent, providing easy access to all the surrounding attractions.
The staff very good thank you front desk Louis he’s very good and very helpful. Thank you for all the staff very good and kindness.
The room clean and nice.
Will come back to stay in this hotel again in the future.
The property was unusual but very nice. Made up of several buildings. Newly renovated and beautiful. Lovely restaurant where we had breakfast. The people were so very nice. The bathroom is lovely but needs grab bars as the tub is very deep. I slipped and fell. I’m in good shape so I managed to not hit the tub edge too hard but others might not be so lucky. The rooms have nice coffee/tea set ups and water, soft drinks and biscuits. I like those little extras. It makes the stay so very special. We’re already talking about coming back. It is in a perfect location for seeing the castle, eating out and shopping.
We have stayed her a few times before. It is clean and beautiful. The staff is lovely and the location is so convenient

The staff were lovely and what we saw of the hotel was ok but it was a shame the hotel was having work on it. If we had know we would have waited and maybe stayed another time.

Pictures look better online than in reality. The rooms are in need of a refurb, in particular the carpet which is badly stained. Hallways to the rooms were marked and dirty. The bathroom is tiny and there is nowhere to put anything - watch out for dangerously slippery showers, which are very small and let's water out everywhere. Also the light at night comes in from the hallway under the door which makes it difficult to sleep (we had to block it!). The bed was comfy and staff were friendly- although would be useful to have more than 1 on at check out as a big queue. Good location for castle however we would not stay there again based on our experience as better options in windsor.
