"I stayed at this hotel 5 years ago and it was great. Coming back after 5 years a little different. Need to improve on the cleanliness. Pillow smells like it hasn't change at all. Curtains has a lot of stains and air conditioning not working well. This hotel need to refurbish or improve on the cleaning. If i return to Hirosaki, I will opp for another hotel."

"Getting there is about an hour drive from Aomori city and hotel has nothing surrounding it but green. Perfect for a getaway but not ideal if wanting to explore Aomori city. The building is old but definitely revamped on the inside, and the option for Japanese style room is available (which the staff make the futon for you). "Hostel was not at the location provided in listing but 1.1 km away from the lake. Self-check in was fin but hostel was run down with many lights not working, cobwebs in hallways. Rooms were booked with private bathrooms but there was no private bathrooms. Bathrooms were communal and there was no shower just sinks with buckets. Sheets were clean but rooms had broken a/c, smelled of fumigation but there were still bugs, broken drawers and lights. It was the worst hostel I have stayed in. We booked...

"The staff there is great!!! We wanted to have our luggages sent back to Tokyo and they helped us fill out the paperwork and held our luggage until it was picked up time. "
