"Everything about this hotel is amazing— the service was attentive and effective and the accommodations are so beautiful. The private pool provided such a lovely way to unwind and spend time outside. The location is a little isolated, but they have a shuttle they generously allow patrons to use, which helps! The restaurant is the best food I’ve ever had, highly recommend!"

"I recently stayed at Hotel Grand Santhi and unfortunately had a very unpleasant experience. The property was unclean and poorly maintained, with visible mold and cockroaches in multiple areas. The food hygiene was unacceptable — I found dead flies in the meal that was served, and the breakfast buffet had fruits infested with ants and flies.

Love Sanur. Quieter than other areas everything you need and on the beach. Was generally pretty clean with a bit of floating plastic around occasionally but nothing like other areas in Bali. Still my fav place.

Sanur is a lovely place to stay if you like laid back Bali. Has everything Kuta and Legian has to offer but without the chaos. The beach is much nicer too with yellow sand and quain fishing boats floating by. Many beachfront restaurants

I've never stayed in Sanur due to its boring reputation but there are plenty of restaurants. The beach is good too. A decent option - not full of resorts like Nusa Dua, more developed than Ubud, more peaceful than Kuta, Seminyak etc.

I loved the beach walk , yoga at power of Oasis Now/ Gelato across the road , massages / beauty shops , restaurants / cafes and even a cat cafe . Transport available everywhere . Bluebird cabs Great .

Sanur is a great place to stay with beach and shops and food a plenty. I wouldnt stay any closer to the main city area as it is very busy, noisy and not interesting.

It's not in Denpasar. It's in Sanur. Sanur feels cleaner, safer and quieter than Kuta, Seminyak and Canggu. Pretty good for families. Very few feral Russians.

Constantly harangued by people offering massages and taxis which got tiresome but such is the life of a tourist here.

"Excellent resort to stay near the beach. Morning buffet was great with open air views of the beach. WiFi and tables available under trees on the beach. 24hr kitchen for room service - which is great for jet lagged arrivals. No Bali belly, so the food was safely prepared - including a wide variety of fresh cut fruit.
In the room, I saw a few bugs (centipede, roach variety); nevertheless everything was very clean. it’s a tropical island with favorable conditions for them to survive; and having lived in hot and humid environments, I assume it’s likely an ongoing battle no matter how clean a place may be. The grounds are gorgeous with lots of greenery and trees along the paths from the lobby, villa rooms, pools, restaurant and beach. The beach has a paved walkway that allows easy access for people, child strollers/ prams, and bicycles to find various restaurants, resorts and shopping. The Genius cafe is on the beach next to the Mercure. I would easily stay here again. "
