"Very poor hotel not at all what I expected. The room itself was very poor everything very old, the net curtains were all ripped. The bathroom was a mess all the tiles where black mykids didnt even want a shower. The toilet did nt flush properly. Towel rail didnt even work.
Extra bedding wasnt supplied had to ask as the room was booked for 2 adults and 1 child but there wasnt enough bedding was told the room was only booked for 2 people.
Must stress that the young man that was on duty that night...

The dining room is in the pub and the decor is eclectic. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful."

"The room was extraordinarily hot and we had to ask housekeeping for a fan which should already be in each room since UK summers are hot now. Pleasant helpful staff and complimentary breakfast was divine! Healds Hall is a lovely property and the grounds are gorgeous!"

"Great young lady on reception booked us in nice and quickly,went to our room 114, nice and clean apart from the bathroom as were marks all over the place,no toilet brush which is a shame as don't like to leave a mess, obviously this hotel once had migrants as the TV was tuned into every channel I've never heard of,had to scroll and scroll for ages to find BBC or ITV etc,
Apart from that had a good sleep, could of flooded the bathroom as only small glass screen in shower, breakfast was nice,not as good as 20 years ago but hey ho,"
"It was a lovely stay away from home. Would definitely visit again. The only downside was no Aircon. The windows do a good job blocking out the sound from outside considering the hotel is right in the city centre. No noise came through but it meant the flat was too warm. It should be fine once it's winter. Apart from that, it was a lovely apartment and I'd choose it over a traditional hotel. "
