"A beautiful building and the rooms were well furnished. However no food or hot drinks available. Hardly any personnel around
Room not serviced and we used codes to get in and out. Not a place we would use again. "

Bustling, plenty shops and places to eat, a theatre and we went to a brilliant show at the Unity Hall, lovely cathedral, they were setting up for the Christmas markets and were really organised 😊

Generally good with friendly people. Surprised how early places close on a Saturday night.
"From the moment we stepped in and were greeted by the doorman it was the best stay. We left our bag as we arrived early. On returning to the hotel we were checked in and given our key and we enjoyed a drink in the bar first. The room was upgraded for my husband's birthday and it was beautifully adorned with lots of balloons and a lovely message with chocolates from the manager. Such a lovely gesture to be so spoilt. The bed was huge and so comfortable. The sofa was really comfy to watch TV. The complimentary mini bar was a lovely touch. My husband loves a bath and it was huge even for him at 6 foot tall. Had the best night's sleep with no noise and total darkness with blackout curtains. In the morning we managed to enjoy sitting out on the balcony in the sunshine before sadly having to leave. David on reception went above and beyond to help me out also which was so generous. It isn't our first stay at Dakota and won't be our last. "
"Staff is amicable and professional. Check in is seamless.
However, there’s a queue upon checking in and it was stuffy while waiting. Maybe a simple fan will help everyone."
"Very nice hotel, room was clean and staff very friendly. Good location close to city centre and train station. Food in resraurant and breakfast was very nice as well"
