This was our second stay there, on the first stay had no complaints at all. This time not so good Not really made to feel welcome and some of the staff were not friendly at all. The bedroom was like a sauna, unable to open window properly, and only one fan which didn’t do much at all, so no sleep for 3 nights. ( No aircon) Bars Restaurant all very nice but let down at breakfast by the dirty cups, jugs and teapots. We don’t go away very often and was very disappointed this time, hence won’t be staying there again sadly.

Stayed in Green Kings hotels before and find them good value for money. First time saying at this hotel. Good location for where I needed to be. Had Fajitas for evening meal and was very nice. Breakfast was lovely to.. poached egg were done perfectly 👌 Very quiet had a lush nights sleep 🛌. Will stay here again 👏

The property is old but in good condition. The room was clean and had a nice shower. Very quiet location with a pub and decent food and a good breakfast. Plenty of free parking and a large outdoor seating area. Being located in Thornes Park it was nice to take a walk around the grounds. No air conditioning so the room was a little warm, but would definitely stay there again.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a good choice, and the price is very reasonable. The bar very well stocked and extremely popular, and there was a large dining area, where the food is excellent, and a good choice of meals at very reasonable prices.

Stayed for a Friday and Saturday night. The room was very clean and comfortable. Check-in staff were friendly and helpful. Bar service and restaurant was also good with quick food service despite there also being a wedding at the hotel on the Saturday night. The hotel advised us in advance that there would be a wedding whilst we were staying and that there might be some noise from the reception. This wasn't a problem as the windows were well double glazed and any noise from the marquee was minimal. Unable to try the breakfast as we were out at 7am on both Saturday and Sunday and breakfast runs from 8am on weekends.
