"• The hotel’s one claim to fame is staying over 100 floors up and that view is indeed impressive. My first time with a 5 digit room number, the first 3 being the floor! The lift took a minute flat to reach the 95th floor lobby, and the smoothness was just as impressive
• The design of the room was pretty nice, but sadly I can’t say much about the design of the rest of the hotel. The lobby, entry sequence etc was disappointing, which is inexcusable at this level of hotel.
• Attention to detail was lacking, and again inexcusable at this level of hotel e.g., no soft closing for all the sliding doors in the room - they just slammed loudly when slid shut. No nuanced control of lighting to suit mood in the evening/night. Room key card panel in lift was so low, I had to bend far down to tap my key card.
• Staff gave us wrong opening hours for the cafe."
