Lovely Lake Retreat for Family Fun on Daggett Lake - With Guest House
10/10 Excellent
"Cozy and well stocked. The two cabins held our 4 adults and 5 kids (ages 3 to 14) with plenty of room. House layout allows people to have their own space. Plenty of outdoor seating for all. We brought our own boat and loved exploring the chain of lakes. (Also loved the restaurants accessible by boat.) Beach area by our dock was too weedy for kids swimming but a company came in while we were there and removed some of it, which helped. We found boating to the amazing sandbar on Cross Lake worked best for kids swimming. Kids also loved fishing off our dock for small bass and sunfish. The ice cream shop in town is a must to visit with 36 flavors. We had a wonderful vacation. Suggesting a blanket for the guest cabin and maybe an extra saucepan and frypan in main cabin. Dishes and bakeware provided...fantastic! We didn’t find any beach towels but had brought out own. "
3-bedroom cabin + adjacent 5-bedroom log cabin on Rush Lake.
6/10 Okay
"Rush lake is a beautiful spot, nice large property. Lots of space in house, nice to have the separate bunk house (no electricity out there though, so battery operated fans might be a good idea). Docks are nice, not a good swimming spot but that is common on these lakes, several good sandy places to boat to. At the time of our rental, there was minimal furniture (the listing pictures were not representative). For example, the dining room table was a small round table for 4. One sofa in living room. Kitchen not well stocked in terms of silverware, plates, etc (there were around 5 forks, if I recall). Check in time in listing did not match that in instructions we were sent, so might want to clarify that if it’s important to you."
Private Beach, Beautiful Lake Home, Fishing, Recreation - Everything You Need!
10/10 Excellent
"This property was just as beautiful as the photos. The cabin was spacious and welcoming. It was our first vacation with our grandkids and it was everything we were hoping for. The kids loved the private sandy beach, all the outdoor toys, large campfire space, and the paddle boat & kayaks. "
Large Private Lake Front Home w/space to entertain
10/10 Excellent
"Everything was very straightforward and communicated well. Couldn’t have asked for anything better! The place is in a great spot on a small private lake, definitely a hidden jem in northern MN. Would love to make it back someday!"
