"Check in/out was confusing, not at the site but about 2 blocks away. Could tell some updates were done, beds were comfortable, air conditioner very noisy and psychotic, would run, stop, run for 10 seconds, stop, run for awhile, repeat pattern, but cooled, no light by the beds. But we managed for the 1 night stay"

"This cabin is a true up north experience. From the cozy cabin to the small and quiet lake with great fishing. There's even a paved walking trail, and it's dog friendly...our dogs enjoyed the lake as much as we did. To top it off its close to town where there are plenty of family activities to do."

"Beautiful Location, But Disappointing Experience The property is in a truly stunning location with breathtaking views, especially from the Great Room. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t match the setting. Upon arrival, we noticed several issues that impacted our stay:There were not enough towels provided for our group.Bedding was left in piles in the closet, which felt disorganized and unwelcoming.General cleanliness was lacking—most notably, a navy bikini bottom was found in the corner of the master bedroom.The kitchen had dirty utensils, and the grill tools were left out and unclean.The stove top didn’t function properly, making cooking difficult.The toilet seat was broken and took three days to be replaced—and even then, it was the wrong size.We also discovered that there were other people staying on the property (a tent, trailer, and small cabin), which was not disclosed in the listing. This made the space feel less private than expected. Communication was another issue. We reached out with questions before the trip and received no response. To be fair, the host did eventually fix the toilet seat, and again, the location is undeniably beautiful. But overall, the lack of cleanliness, poor communication, and unexpected shared occupancy made this stay disappointing."

"This place is perfect for a big family gathering. Tucked back from the channel between Cross Lake and Dagget Lake, it is very private and quiet. Great fishing off the dock. We rented a pontoon from Cross Lake Rental (ask for Joy) that tied up with no issues because it is not wavey in the channel. The house is huge and very clean and modern. Kids upstairs, adults on main floor. Great rec basement. Hot tub was nice. Workout facility was top notch. Close to Brainerd for fun go karts, mini golf, etc. Great restaurants nearby. 10/10. "

"We got an email/note before arrival with all the details on getting into the cabin and expectations which was great! The main cabin and guest cabin were both very clean and stocked with toilet paper, garbage bags, shower needs, etc. Overall, the cabins and host were great! The host was even flexible on an extra ask we had communicated about before our stay and we really appreciated their flexibility and us staying respectful of our ask. The docks, slide, beach are, paddle boat, video games were all a hit- thank you!!Things to consider for others: it’s off a busier road, also a busy area in the lake (great for people/boat watching), with a larger family there is only one outdoor table we had to rotate eating at - totally fine but an extra picnic table would be nice! Minor things but maybe a deal breaker for some!I’d absolutely recommend others to this cabin."
