"We decided to stay overnight at The Juniperlea Inn on our way to Edinburgh. This place is only a 30-minute drive from the city center. The room was excellent, the food delicious, and the staff lovely. We will definitely consider staying there again when visiting Edinburgh. "

"This is an ideal location when staying in Edinburgh with many amenities within an easy walk and several very good restaurants within a block or two. The hotel restaurant and separate bar are also very pleasing to be in and with excellent food and drink (flights of Scotch!!!). But above all, the staff, whether front desk, bar, restaurant -- across the board -- were unbelievably helpful and very, very nice. They made us feel that Scots may be the friendliest people on the planet!"

"Staff was friendly and helpful. Was a nice hotel, only thing they could improve is adding an option to add credits to the bill to use laundry. We had to find an atm and break change to use it. Most things in town use cards so even a card reader would have made it better. Overall it was a good stay."
