Our room was a good size but very tired decor, dust/cobwebs hanging from ceiling, bathroom very old fashioned and in serious need of modernisation. The bedroom (Room 9) overlooked a noisy courtyard and there was music playing until at least 11pm. Breakfast was very good. Needs elevator and trailheads are too far (1 1/2 miles to Old Corpse Road trailhead) - needs trailhead right behind hotel. Dinner menu not good — very fancy, very narrow, might be popular in Knightsbridge or Kensington but not in mountains where people out and about and craving hearty meal at end of day- the “bread” was ridiculous."
