"What a great night at the Catherine wheel. We met Debbie when we checked in and she was so warm and friendly she made everything very easy for us. The room was clean, modern and very quaint. The food was outstanding in the restaurant with a good menu selection. There were 11 of us for dinner and you could tell everything was fresh and home made the pie was especially incredible. "The home was freezing cold. Had many radiators but all remotely controlled by the owner and set for 19 degrees (66 F), and Bourton was facing a bit of cold weather, late March, and owner was aware that the home was cold, but she stated that a 1600’s home can’t be heated up because it interferes with the old stone and timbers of the home. It would be a great place to stay from June through August. Great location in town. Quaint. Good amenities (other than it has a clothes washer but no clothes dryer, which is odd). Would stay there again, but only during the summer!!"
