"The room was very nice with great view even though the volcano was cloudy. The spa and pool areas were great, especially the jacuzzi area where our family were able to relax in a more secluded area. The staff was great from reception to the restaurant. Breakfast was really good and service was top!! "

"They put a lot of money in making the resort presentable (plants, landscaping, pool, jacuzzi), but the room lacks basic necessities - NO PLACE to hang clothes. Because La Fortuna rains so often, you definitely will need to hang your stuff to dry, and there wasn't even a hanger or a closet. We finally had to ask for 2 lawn chairs. Water service also stopped with no warning at least 3 times (though each time didn't last too long) during the short stay (3 days) we had there. "

"Room had no hot water. Staff came to fix it and walked all over our room with muddy shoes. Fixing it took a long time. In the morning we went to shower and once again no hot water. What a disappointing experience "

"Hot tub was nothing like the picture shown. Gate did not work, no hot water in one of the bathrooms and a big brown leak on the floor coming out of the water heater. This place was not really remodeled. I did not even want to seat on the couch because it seemed filthy. There was a strong humidity smell all over the house. Bathroom doors had a hole at the top that provided no privacy for whoever was using it."

"I had everything I needed in a very nice, well kept setting. You need to bring your own coffee but you a have a coffee maker. The setting is very nice with a water stream in the backyard. My room looked at the water stream which was very nice. Communication was great. The price is reasonable and I felt it was a good quality/price report. Would stay here again! "
