"Friendly, welcoming check in. Nice big rooms. Very dog friendly. Breakfast was outstanding! So hospitable....explained to the manager that we found our beds uncomfortable, the manager organised new mattresses with no question and a smile. We did find the room to be a bit stuffy as the only ventilation was possible of we kept the french door on the latch, which was perfect during the day but perhaps a little unsafe at night. "The staff were lovely and anttentive, the food was great and the hotel is conveniently located. Overall, a decent stay but not good enough to return. It is looking rather dated now and needs some TLC. The rooms are bland and could do with a picture or two and the spa area isn’t the best, it needs a clean if I’m honest! "

"Lodge was beautiful massive very well maintained, a lot of items included which was surprised about had own Bose system included. Beautiful surrounding. Only recommendation would be to take own toilet roll ha ha, dependant on stay would definitely go again."
