"I am from the US, but I found this place after discovering through Ancestry research that the Lumley family is in my family tree, and I found this castle in searching them and I wanted to see it, so we came. Lumley Castle is a unique and amazing gem. There is so much history. The reception desk sells a book about the history, which is definitely worth purchasing. We attended Burns Nights in Baron's Hall, and the event was wonderful, with great food and fun dancing afterwards. The event...
