"Spent the weekend in Philly for a Metallica concert. This was convenient to the subway and Reading Terminal Market. Friendly staff. Little sketchy outside at night, but hotel can't help that. They had security at the door and needed to scan your room card to get inside. My wife and I felt safe once we got inside. Would stay again. "

"The property was in a great location …close to great restaurants and places of interest . The staff was helpful. The pool was nice and refreshing and quiet. The decor of the hotel was art deco . Bathroom was clean and bed was comfortable…although areas of the halls and the bathroom wallpaper was torn and dirty ….needs some updating . They have a lil art bar on the first floor , but they only served coffee and small breakfast items …yogurt and bagels. I wish there was a full day restaurant on site but all there was ..was Ruthchris steakhouse which is pricey and opened later in the afternoon. Overall stay was pleasant. "

"My new favorite in Philly. I'd be happy to stay here again in the future. The staff is welcoming and attentive, the space is very pretty and unique, and they really care about your comfort. Breakfast is in the Red Owl tavern, highly recommended. Plus, you can actually see they care about sustainability — not just put cheesy signs."
