Many windows broken, rooms in need of a deep clean and refresh. Small amounts of mould and poorly repaired sealant in bathrooms. Towels and bed linen clean. There is very much a vibe of “how little can we do to maintain the hotel, how cheaply can we do this repair, how little can we pay and invest in our employees”. And that approach shows....

"Convenient and well priced accommodation. The room was clean and very comfortable. Plenty of hot water in the shower. There was parking near each accommodation block. The lift wasn't working in the Heron building. There is a covered walkway from there to the main building where food is served. Signage is not brilliant, especially when you arrive in Heron building from the main building (no signs to direct you to the lift or stairs, no indication that numbers starting 100 are upstairs on first...
