The White Hart is a lovely country style pub with accommodation. The pub had a lovely atmosphere, the food was delicious and our room was comfy and warm. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We’d definitely stay there again.

What a Hidden Gem....

Lovely little pub in a lovely village, can't wait to use this place again, the food, service and team there are out standing and the breakfast was excellent. Its got free parking in a small village and has a lovely atmosphere and for the price is far better than using the big chains.

Excellent traditional country pub with rooms

Lovely traditional country pub with rooms across the courtyard. Excellent food including veggie options. Friendly helpful staff and a Tesla destination charger. Recommended.

This is the second time I have stayed here and why, cos this place is an excellent place to stay, very friendly staff, excellent spacious rooms and food is brilliant. I would recommend this place to anyone, ignore those big chain hotels, these sort of places are the place to stay, well done to all at the White Hart, thanks for an excellent stay

Superb hotel and food

I never leave reviews but this plave deserved a good one. Cosy, Clean and comfortable room and amazing food. Will definitely be becoming a regular stop over for work trips.

Great stay! Very comfortable

Excellent hotel, warm welcome and comfortable room. Food was outstanding, quality produce for both evening meal and breakfast. Only downside, which is a minor point, the shower hose was split so reduced the power to the shower head. Easily fixed. Definitely recommend and will stay here again when back in the area.

A little gem of a place to stay!

What a gem! Been working in the area for a few weeks now and wished I'd found The White Hart sooner. Set in a lovely quiet little village. Just idyllic! Shame I had to work. Great facilities in the room and the bar has a big selection of ales and beers. Really can't fault this place.

We only stayed the night as we were attending a wedding near by. Our room was in the main building just upstairs from the pub bar. It was a really nice, everything was great and clean. Breakfast was made to order and fantastic, there was quite a selection to choose from. Would definately recommend.

Clean, comfortable good sized room with good Internet. I used it for Teams business work with no problems. The pub itself is an excellent country pub, with a good menu and enjoyable food. I'll be back and recommend you try it too

We loved our stay at the White Hart. Our room was large, bed comfy, big walk in shower. Tea and coffee making facilities, small fridge ( very useful), plus Netflix on the TV. WiFi good signal. Small country pantry type shop a few steps away also run by the pub and useful if you forget anything! What was even better was we were just a few steps from the pub ( not noisy!) The pub is welcoming , great beer and whiskey and excellent food. Portion sizes are huge but you won't be able to resist eating it all. Gluten free well catered for. Very reasonable price as well. The breakfast was fantastic ( bacon delicious) and you could have whatever you chose plus cereal, toast , fruit, yoghurt etc. All in all a brilliant stay. We will definitely be returning!

Not the best start

Did online checkin and asked for early checkin. They never got back to me. Arrived at hotel and shown to the room in the annex. Sorry to say it was not very clean, the blind in the window and the surfaces were thick in dust. Complained and given another room in the main building that was ok. No explanation on why the room was not clean. Breakfast good choice and very nice. Parking a bit tight when loads of people outside drinking. Thought a little overpriced for what it was. I would think twice about staying again, it was ok but nothing to shout about. I understand it’s difficult times for a business so I hope they view my comments as constructive and with them every success.
