I like Milton Keynes a lot. Its big enough to be a city but small enough to not have the big city vibe. Everything is 20 minutes away from any place, and getting around is a breeze (in your own car). The 100 or so round abouts are my only peeve.

It's just a nice, pleasant and peaceful place to visit. People tend to be more friendly and relaxed here then in Birmingham. I enjoy doing a city break here away from Birmz for all the above positives

Ala, as soon as he greeted us and heard that we were Welsh, he actually said a few Welsh words to us! Very impressive 😃
