"We spent the first night of our honey moon at the romantic Miramare Hotel in Formia. The hotel (located in an old castle) is situated in a breathtaking surrounding - high up in the mountains with a spectacular view of the sea. At arrival we were greeted by a nice woman who also helped us carrying our stuff to our room, (lots of winding stairs). The Miramare is a special place! (You think of a hotel where nice and interesting people in good and old novels would stay…) Everything was super and...

"This property was lovely! The shuttle was extremely convenient and saved us so much money on cabs into town. It’s about a 10 minute ride into downtown Sorrento. Breakfast was amazing and the view was INCREDIBLE. We really enjoyed sitting on the terrace and having a drink. Only comments to note would be that the pool and jacuzzi close at 7pm which is quite early when the sun sets around 9pm. Also, the restaurant offerings were quite fancy and expensive so we couldn’t have a casual dinner at the hotel for our more low key days. Service was great and we enjoyed reserving time in the small gym available. "
